Behold: Banoffee Pie!!!

Okay... I am excited... because my first entry happens to also be one of my favourite things to eat on earth!!! Banoffee-Pie!!! I believe it originates from Scotland, which if I may say so is one of the most beautiful places on earth I've ever visited!!!

Now... *harrumph* over the next couple of entries you will realize that I love creating stuff to eat BUT that I am also terribly lazy and impatient... so the recipes I post might as well come from a "Cooking for Dummies!" book!!! They are easy, they dont cost a lot of money, they consist of very few ingredients and they dont require a lot of preparing time!!!

But enough talk... lets get started!!!

First: we need the right cooking tunes... I'm thinking Mario Biondi...

Right... now that the mood is set:
You'll need:
- 3 to 4 Bananas
- 1 can of Dulce de Lecce (i'm too lazy to boil condensed milk for 2 hrs...)
- whipped cream (I buy the one from the can... )
- chocolate sprinkles
- and instead of crushing biscuits to make a base for the pie I tend to just buy chocolate flavoured cake base. In Switzerland you can find it at any grocery store such as Coop or Migros. A it is easier and less messy. B I get frustrated with all the buiscuit crumbs falling apart when I try to eat my delicious pie!!!

So... basically its very easy:
Just take the chocolate base, cover it with a layer of banana slices. Then cover the bananas with a layer of Dulce de Lecce. Then cover the Dulce de Lecce with a layer of whipped cream. And then to decorate the whole thing sprinkle chocolate pieces over it.
Et voila!! It is soooo easy!! Yet soooo yummie!! Enjoy people!!

Love, Nic
